Cornwall is one of Britain’s most popular resorts, both for residents of the UK and also for tourists from the surrounding European continent.

The reason for this is that the place has much to offer visitors, including the very famous Cornish ice cream, which is known to taste quite exceptional.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Cornwall, it is located at the south of the United Kingdom, near to places such as Dover, Eastbourne and Devon as well as being within close proximity to the Isle Of Wight, which is another good place to visit if you haven’t done so already.

Also, the famous comedy series Fawlty Towers was filmed in nearby Torquay, which is another factor that makes the south of the UK worth visiting, as this part of the country is usually far warmer than the north of the UK, especially Scotland, which can often be freezing cold at times.

Finally, if you are planning on travelling to Cornwall, it would be advisable to leave plenty of time for your journey, as the roads surrounding this area can often get extremely busy, especially during the summer season and on bank holidays.
